What would you do, if you weren't working as a designer?

With the assumption this means working online (I'm also building products online). I'd love to do something to do with traveling, but what a comment in 2020 ha!
What design tool do you currently use?
Figma for media, UI, wireframes. Photoshop for stitching and refining screenshots for One Page Love.
What's your favorite band or artist to listen to while designing?
Mostly 90s punk rock or metal. It I'm really feeling it black metal. But if I'm writing/coding DNB is better with the lack of lyrics but same tempo.
Your favorite font? :-)
Inter by Rasmus Andersson. (previously: Sofia Pro, before that: Proxima Nova)
Favorite book or movie (non-design related)
Top 3 films: Shawshank Redemption, Pulp Fiction, Donnie Darko. Book: Anything you want by Derek Sivers
What's your favorite color in hex or RGBa? (gradients are allowed too)
#EB3656 - the red behind the One Page Love and Email Love websites.
What was your first real/paid design project and when did you make it?
Website for a surf school in maybe 2004 for R500 ($30)
If you could write something on the loading screen of all design tools, so all designers can see it, what would it be?
When you have flow, don't stop. Or take it 1 pixel at a time.
Did you study design, or are you self taught? And how did that path influence your work style?
No design school. My journey is MS Paint to Photoshop to Figma all self-taught.
The biggest innovation in product design right now is...
Figma is a revelation for me for what I've seen GPT-3 do on some Twitter demos is mind-blowing.
With all the current experience, what would you tell yourself when you were just starting out?
Try replicate other good designers work (privately) and learn what it took. And probably DOUBLE the padding!
What do you think is the biggest problem in the design industry right now and how can it be fixed?
Too much time spent debating tools and not being creative, experimenting, taking risks, being vulnerable, sharing etc. - I guess remember we are forever students and everyone out there is an equal human being, could be a good start :)
